“Ocean’s Reflections” is an interpretation on the interaction between animals, seasonal changes, and observations on coastal shores. The ocean is vibrant, alive with color and mystery. We can only begin to understand the creatures of the deep, the origins of time, and our place within it all. Yet there remains a connection—a reflection flowing through the rivers of time.
Having spent much of my life at the water’s edge, these paintings are inspired by my love of the ocean and my connection to its depths. Blending abstraction with reality my hope is to embark on a whimsical journey into the heart of nature as we observe the world in relationship to ourselves, our spirit, our life, our breath. In fantasy, nature, and dreams, a parallel universe exists within the ocean’s depths.
