Welcome to my website! I once read that all art matters and it really struck a chord with me, as we all are creative and have things to share. Art makes the world more beautiful and has the ability to transport us into our memories and dreams.

I am an abstract painter inspired by the beauty of nature. My paintings embark on a journey into the heart of nature, as we observe the world in relationship to ourselves, as there is a thread that ties us to the invisible world, something spiritual, invisible. The music, poetry and random thoughts begin to translate into color on the canvas. At some point, I stop and begin to see, like looking into the clouds, something to paint. Through this process I find a beginning, and images come into my conscious mind. Influences behind my work include the nature that surrounds me, and artists Gustav Klimt and Salvador Dali.

I teach workshops, inspiring others to create artwork from a space of childlike wonder as I believe the simple act of creativity unleashes a part of ourselves that the world needs as it seeks for connection. Art is a way to bridge the gap into our emotional selves, bridge anxiety and connect us together this united struggle of what it is to be human.

My creative studio is in Gibsons BC and when I’m not there you can find me walking the beach and nature trails watching the birds, bears, coyotes and other critters with my dog. These quiet times of reflection help feed my creativity, spirit and soul as I connect with the solitude of life.

Featured guest on the national TV show, An Artist in The House in 2022, a winner of the Sunshine Coast Writers Society people’s choice award in 2024, and artwork featured in the book “Not an Island” 2024 /25. On the cover of Snippets in a small town, a book due to be released in December 2025.

​On my portfolio you will see a few different subject matters as you are transported into a world beyond words. On my shop page you will find some paintings listed for sale. This is a work in process, so if you see something and it is not marked sold, it is available - just send me a quick note for more details.​

Available summer, spring break and weekends throughout the year for children ages 6 and over. Must have at least one adult present as the idea behind this is to provide an atmosphere for connection and family fun.
