Welcome to my website! I once read that all art matters and it really struck a chord with me, as we all are creative and have things to share. Art makes a world more beautiful and has the ability to transport us into our memories, our dreams. It unites us.

I always was a creative girl jumping into a lot of artistic interests growing up including singing, writing poems, figure skating, dance, working with 3D art (clay + textiles) and lots of painting and drawing. I always came back to painting and drawing as it is like a friend, a part of myself - something that helps me release inner stored emotions and come to a knowledge of how I view the world, what is important to me and why.

As I got older I traveled around the world over 25 years, working in various locations, which gave me the opportunity to be around people with diverse cultural backgrounds. Using nature as inspiration, working within the realm of my imagination painting in an expressionistic way my paintings blend the abstract with reality. 

 

My paintings embark on a journey into the heart of nature as we observe the world in relationship to ourselves, our spirit, our life, our breath. From the flowers that come to life after a long cold winter, birds singing at dawn and the waiting for life to move on, stay the same and hurry up and change there is a thread that ties us to the invisible world as we move between this dance of opposing forces.
 

Currently I am living in Gibsons, BC. And my work reflects the beauty and complexity of the natural world, mostly the things I am in contact with daily. Welcome to a world of shifting perspectives, energy, and profound emotion as each painting invites you in,

​On my portfolio you will see a few different subject matters as you are transported into a world beyond words. On my shop page you will find small paintings listed for sale. Larger works can be seen at the Pacific Art Market for sale - or if you see something on this site please send me an email. There are also textiles, including tote bags, pillowcases and a couple of summer things on my ETSY shop
