Artistic Inspiration
Born in Canada, I spent much of my adult life living and working in countries around the world. Those nomadic experiences shape my art through an exploratory process, a love of colour, and a deep connection to nature. In 2018, we settled in the small port town of Gibsons, BC, where the surrounding landscape continues to inspire my work.
I seek to capture the essence of life by painting the rhythms found in nature. Abstract ideas move across the canvas, exploring the balance between stillness and motion. My paintings reflect nature’s emotion, movement, peace, and change. Working mainly in acrylic with collage, pastel, and glazes, I create mixed-media pieces rich in texture and atmosphere, inviting viewers to pause and reflect on the balance between nature and transformation.
When not in the studio you can find me walking the local trails in the sunshine coast with my dog, working at the SPIDER Elementary school in Roberts Creek or volunteering at the local art gallery.
Teaching Philosophy
Mainly self-taught, I’ve studied with a variety of instructors over the years starting at the tender age of 14 years old. Sharing my experience as a facilitator, I work to encourage others to create with childlike wonder while nurturing their creativity and developing their artistic voice.

- Painting on the cover of Snippets in a Small Town, a book celebrating life on the BC coast.
I have a continuous display on at the Coastal Art Gallery in Sunnycrest Mall, Gibsons, and invite people into my home studio to by request.
